Apia is a very popular tourist destination. To learn about the history of Apia, tourists have to visit the Robert Louis Stevenson museum. This museum was named after the writer, Robert Stevenson, who wrote “Treasure island” among other bestselling novels. The house of this famous writer is another historical monument that is located at Apia. Other historical sites that tourist visit to learn about Samoa include the old government and the Cappuccino vineyard.
In the city, there is also the beautiful ancient building of the Catholic Church where the locals and foreigners gather for mass.
Apart from the historical sites, Apia has many beautiful sites such as lovely beaches and the roads that lead to the promenade, antique shops for shopping, and many more spots.
This country has been a major tourist destination for years. Some of its famed sites include the ten islands, sceneries such as the rain forests, mountains, valleys waterfalls and the marine life, and the water sporting activities such as diving, surfing and many more.
